The Headteacher of one of our mainstream Primary Schools in the Preston area is looking to recruit a committed and experienced SEND Teacher to join their team asap working with EYFS/KS1.
You should be able to demonstrate your experiences with SEND and the EYFS and KS1 curriculum in a clear manner.
The role is required long term and will be at least until July 2025 with the possibility of this role continuing in September.
In the SEND Class there are 5 SEND children
There are 3 Reception children and 2 Year 1 children. The children are non verbal, and working at a much lower level
There will be 2 fulltime SEND TA3s in the class
These children do have EHCPs .
You must be able to offer good attendance, stability and commitment. This is a long term position.
The required experience for this role;
- Experience teaching in EYFS/KS1.
- Clear and current knowledge of the EYFS
- Strong experience working with non Verbal and SEND children
- Passionate in teaching and supporting at all levels
