Smart4Chemicals are recruiting for a Technologist on behalf of one of our clients based in the southwest Lancashire area. This role is commutable from Liverpool, Warrington and West Manchester areas.

As a Technologist you will be responsible for glass forming, annealing and working within the manufacturing technology area.

To be considered for the role of Technologist you will ideally have previous experience in a lab environment. Any experience in working with glass is highly desirable.

Role requirements

  • Degree educated in chemistry, chemical engineering, physics or another closely related STEM subject.
  • Previous experience in the forming and annealing of glass.
  • Project management experience highly desirable.
  • Driving licence and your own personal car required.

Role responsibilities

  • Actively lead projects and provide technical support to production issues and projects.
  • Work with cross functional teams on a daily basis such as engineering, manufacturing and sustainability.
  • Be willing to travel to any customers/clients to quickly respond to any issues.
