The client is seeking a Nurse Qualified Deputy Manager for their 40 bedded care home located in Preston, providing care within nursing, residential and dementia care settings.

As the Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running of the care home. You will support the longstanding care team to ensure outstanding person-centred care is provided and the home is running in line with CQC regulations.

Deputy Home Manager Duties include:
- Support the manager in the day to day running of the home
- Ensuring the care, welfare and safety of all residents is maintained at the highest possible standard
- Completing physical/psychological assessments of new residents on admission
- Creating individualised care plans for residents
- Safely administering and recording of medication
- Liaising effectively with external suppliers and health care providers
- Monitoring and developing performance of care staff and the nursing team
- Ensuring effective rotas are in place

Deputy Home Manager Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with Valid Pin
- Excellent knowledge of all Standards and NMC code of practice
- Proven track record of person-centred care planning
- Experienced leader and mentor
- A passion for delivering high standards of care
