Responsibilities:
- Advise project and engineering managers on product safety matters, ensuring that safety considerations are effectively addressed and implemented.
- Collaborate with third parties to review and gather evidence for the safety case.
- Develop both physical and functional safety arguments using appropriate analysis methods, and produce and update safety case and safety management documentation in accordance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Line manage other safety professionals.
Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge of safety engineering processes, practices, and tools.
- Strong grasp of safety engineering and assurance principles.
- Qualified engineers from other disciplines who exhibit the right behaviors and an understanding of safety engineering will also be considered.
