We have a huge number of new clients across Lancashire County hiring for Support Workers and Care Assistants.

Positions available include a range of permanent, contract and shift-based work.

Ideally you will have a current enhanced DBS on the update service.

Expereince in a similar position and/or relevant qualifications are essential to be considered for these vacancies.

As a Support Worker, you’ll be providing practical and emotional support to individuals with a range of needs. Each day will be different, but your key responsibilities will include:

  • Helping with everyday tasks like cooking, cleaning, and personal care.
  • Supporting clients to stay active, whether that’s attending appointments, taking part in social activities, or exploring hobbies.
  • Promoting independence and encouraging confidence in daily life.
  • Building strong, positive relationships with clients and their families.
  • Monitoring wellbeing and reporting any changes or concerns.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is patient, caring, and genuinely enjoys helping others.
  • Has great communication skills and can work well as part of a team.
  • Is flexible and reliable, with the ability to adapt to changing situations.

As a Care Assistant, you’ll be at the heart of helping people live comfortably and independently. Your day-to-day duties may include:

  • Helping with meal preparation and ensuring dietary needs are met.
  • Supporting individuals with mobility, including the use of aids or hoists.
  • Providing companionship and emotional support to clients.
  • Personal care.
  • Carrying out light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe environment.
  • Monitoring clients’ health and wellbeing, and reporting any changes.
