We are currently seeking a qualified English Teacher to join our team on a temporary full-time basis in Middleton. This role involves teaching English GCSE courses. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about teaching and committed to delivering high-quality education to students.
Day-to-day of the role:- Plan and deliver compelling and educational English lessons aligned with the GCSE curriculum.
- Assess student progress, provide feedback, and adapt lesson plans to meet student needs.
- Foster a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages student participation.
- Utilise a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
- Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the curriculum and share effective teaching strategies.
- Must possess a full teaching qualification at Level 5.
- Proven experience in teaching English, particularly at the GCSE level.
- Strong knowledge of the current English curriculum and assessment standards.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
