We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our vibrant secondary school team on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity to inspire and educate students, fostering a love of mathematics and supporting their academic progress.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 teaching desirable but not essential).
  • Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in accordance with the national curriculum and the school's policies.
  • Support students of all abilities to achieve their potential, providing extra support where necessary.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, training, and school events as required.


Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
  • Proven experience teaching mathematics at secondary school level.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and engage students.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
