Psychology Graduate - Preston:

Prospero Teaching are looking for recent psychology graduates to join a lovely school near to Preston. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate who wants to pursue a career in education.

You will be working within a school setting as a teaching assistant either 1-1 or with small groups.

The Role:

  • Preparing learning resources and activities
  • Communicating with parents, staff and pupils
  • Managing behaviour effectively

Position Details:

  • Hours: 8:45am-3:45pm, Mon-Fri, during term time only

  • Minimum Rate of Pay: £85 per day, depending on experience

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

  • Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
  • Previous experience working with children
  • Psychology Degree is essential

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
