Teaching Assistant:
Prospero Teaching are looking for a Teaching Assistant to support a Year 3 class at an excellent school near to Preston. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent psychology graduate or Level 2 qualified TA.
The Role:
- Preparing resources and learning activties
- Communicating with teachers to track progress
- Positively managing behaviour
Position Details:
- Location: Preston
- Position: TA
- Hours: 8:15am-3pm
- Start date: Dec 2024
- End date: Ongoing
- Type of Work: Temporary
- Full time/part time: Full time only
- Minimum rate of pay: 100 per day, depending on experience
Experience, Training and Qualifications:
- Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desirable but training can be provided)
- Level 2 Teaching assistant qualification is desirable but not essential
- Previous experience working with children with SEN
- Team Teach Qualification would be highly desirable
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional references
