Your New Organisation

Join a long-standing public sector organisation dedicated to delivering essential services across Lancashire. With a workforce of around 1,200 employees, this organisation is committed to excellence and community service. The team is based at a highly accessible location near Fulwood, with occasional travel to other sites. (Must have a driving licence and access to a vehicle).

Your New Role

As HR Manager - Business Partnering, you will lead a team of HR Business Partners, reporting to the Head of People. Operating in a generalist capacity, you will manage the full employee lifecycle, overseeing recruitment, employee relations, offboarding, policy writing, organisational change and HR Project Work activity. You will partner with a selected area within the county, providing HR support, guidance and up-to-date advice to managers and staff at all levels.This role offers a mix of on-site and home-based working (home-based once a week), with the option for flexi-time and the autonomy to manage your own diary.

What You Will Need to Succeed:

  • CIPD Level 5 qualification minimum.
  • 5 years of HR experience, operating in a generalist HR capacity, as HR Manager and/or HR Business Partner.
  • Proven ability to manage a team and support their development.
  • Strong background in the public sector or regulatory environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of HR processes and policies.
  • Practical, hands-on approach with a passion for HR and a willingness to grow and take on new challenges.
