Reed HR North West are working in exclusive partnership with our client based in the Bamber Bridge area to recruit for a HR Manager to join their team on a part time basis (approx. 4 days per week – negotiable). In return the client is offering a salary of £33,000 - £40,000 per annum (pro rata) plus a discretionary bonus scheme as well as other benefits too.

This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR processes and procedures across the business and is crucial for ensuring the business’ success through developing and implementing HR strategies that are aligned with the overall business strategy. Whilst the role is a stand alone position, there is third party HR and Health and Safety support readily available via an external partner.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Manage the entire recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies that align with the business’s overall strategy.
  • Handle employee relations issues effectively, providing support to both employees and management to resolve conflicts.
  • Enhance staff development and skills through targeted training programs.
  • Conduct HR meetings, including investigations, disciplinaries, and grievances.
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends in employee performance and satisfaction, making recommendations for improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations, promoting a positive workplace environment.
  • Manage the preparation of monthly payroll.
  • Address Health & Safety matters, ensuring all accidents are reported and dealt with correctly, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring all related training is completed and adhered to.
  • Liaise with third-party HR & Health and Safety advisors to ensure best practices are maintained.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a human resources management role ideally with a CIPD Level 3 or above qualification.
  • Strong understanding of HR practices and strategic thinking.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of clearly presenting information to various audiences.
  • Proficient in data analysis, able to assess HR metrics and inform decision-making processes.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, with an emphasis on collaboration and teamwork.
