TalentEdge North are supporting a fantastic PE backed organisation in Preston, Lancashire in finding their next Payroll Manager as the business continues to grow.

As payroll manager, you will oversee and action all aspects of payroll processes within the organisation and all subsidiary organisations within the group

You will be a critical player in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll, maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and providing support to employees regarding payroll-related inquiries.

Responsibilities for the Payroll Manager

  • Supervise and manage the entire process, including the calculation of wages, overtime, and deductions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll to meet designated deadlines.
  • Ensure the accuracy and security of payroll data and confidential employee information.
  • Prepare and submit payroll taxes, ensuring compliance with all tax regulations.
  • Review and analyse incoming information to assess accuracy and completeness
  • Calculate and raise manual payments as necessary, ensuring records are updated and recovery action is implemented
  • Address and resolve any payroll-related issues or discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide support and guidance to employees regarding payroll-related inquiries or concerns.
  • Provide necessary documentation and support to ensure compliance and accuracy during audits.

Package?

  • Salary up to £45k (dependent on experience)
  • Work from home 2 days a week (after 3 month probation)
