Senior Business Analyst needed in Preston paying £500 per day Ref 1426458

Full time time on a temporary basis

Role Purpose: Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, identify areas for improvement, and support the development and implementation of solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document the ‘as-is’ and develop the ‘to-be’ processes, along with associated requirements.

  • Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.

  • Define and document change requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.

  • Advise senior managers and executive teams, representing the team to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Provide leadership, training, and guidance to team members.

  • Stay updated on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernise systems.

  • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and demos to identify business drivers and document requirements.

  • Maintain and expand knowledge in relevant business and technology areas through professional development.

  • Perform and support user acceptance testing.

  • Communicate insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.

  • Prioritise initiatives based on business needs and requirements.

  • The successful candidate will have experience of working within an agile software development environment and relevant systems such as Azure DevOps.
  • Experience of cost-benefit analysis would be an advantage.
