Be part of the Dreadnought Programme and contribute to the Active Vehicle Control System (AVCS) development for a UK sovereign submarine project. We're seeking Simulink Engineers for our Mission Systems team, based in the Northwest of England or East Yorkshire. Hybrid working is available.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop Human Machine Interface (HMI) and System Health Management systems using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
- Collaborate closely with BAES Submarines, working on Model-Based Design (MBD) integration.
- Conduct requirements verification, documentation, and safety analysis.
- Provide guidance and support within the team.
Essential Skills
- Degree in STEM (e.g., Aeronautical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Physics) or equivalent experience.
- 2-5 years of Systems Engineering experience in Display & Controls, System Health, and Data Management.
- Proficiency in Mathworks tools (Simulink) and Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication skills and flexibility for occasional site visits.
