IT Support Engineer - Preston – 3-month contract
My customer is looking for an IT Support Engineer to support users at 6 offices within a 10-mile radius of each other.
The IT support Engineer is required to travel and support 6 sites in Preston with any issues up to 2nd line Support. The Engineer would have experience with Account Management (Office 365, AD), Deployment and any end user issues in the Microsoft space.
The IT Support Engineer would spend the morning in the main site and then travel to 1 of the 5 sites every afternoon. This role would require you to work on site 5 days a week for the duration of the contract.
IT Support Engineer - Technical Skills / Experience required:
- Prior experience within an IT Support 1st/2nd Line role
- Prior experience as a field/independent Engineer
- Windows 10/11 – Administration and Support
- Microsoft EUC Stack
- Microsoft 365 – Administration and Support
- Account Management - AD & Office 365Â
- Deployment and setting up new devices
- Password reset and basic Network troubleshooting
- Monitoring estate and asset management
- Exposure to IPAD and Mac would be beneficial
- Working in the educational industry
- If successful you are required to pass an Enhanced DBS check
