Model Based Systems Engineer

Role Overview:

As a Model Based Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in deployment of MBSE approach into a programme. It would involve working with the domain specialists to develop MBSE models to deliver information required for the design and development team to commence their activities. And supporting the MBSE work through development. The engagement would be across domains i.e. mechanical, electrical, electronics, software and controls amongst others. This role requires a deep understanding of multi-domainproduct developmentprocesses and SystemsEngineering.

Openings exist from engineer through to Lead Engineer level for this position. Progressive experience in MBSE upto MBSE Lead is desired depending on the role applied for. Experience in adapting defined frameworks as well as defining MBSE approach would be a plus. As is, an ability to document processes in a clear succinct manner.

INCOSE Certification is desirable.

Ability to translate complex concepts into understandable language for domain specialists is crucial, along with yourorganisational skillsand experience inagile methodologies.

Experience in mentoring on MBSE would be a desirable attribute for this role.

Required Skills (TechnicalCompetency):

• MBSE:Demonstrated experience in MBSE development and deployment across domains (electronics, software, mechanical etc.)
• Working in IPT including domain experts for MBSE
• Clear and concise documentation and communication of work deliverables to non-MBSE domain engineers
• Engineering Foundation/ Experience: Experience/ Exposure to engineering (mechanical, electronics, software) in automotive, aerospace, other defence domains
• Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and documentation, with the ability to translate complextechnicalconcepts into simple understandable language.
• Leadership: Ability to develop and lead conversations in both formal and informal customer settings to drive MBSE delivery.

Desired Skills:

• Experience in working across fullproduct life cyclei.e. Requirements through to Retirement
• Advanced Degree:A Masters degree in Systems Engineering,Computer Science, Electronics, other is preferred.
• Agile MethodologyExperience:Extensive experience withagile methodologiesin the context ofdigital transformationprojects.
• Project ManagementAbility:Strong project managementskills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.

INCOSE Certification
