Veritas Education is currently recruiting for a School Catering Assistant to join a fantastic school in Preston. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a dedicated catering team, ensuring students receive nutritious and delicious meals daily.

Key Responsibilities:

? Assist in food preparation and cooking meals following dietary guidelines.? Serve meals to students and staff while maintaining high levels of customer service.? Ensure kitchen and dining areas remain clean, safe, and well-organised.? Adhere to food hygiene and health & safety regulations.? Help with stock management and maintain accurate records.? Work collaboratively with the catering team to ensure efficient service.

What We're Looking For:

?? Previous experience in catering or kitchen work (school setting preferred but not essential).?? Food Hygiene Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).?? Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions.?? Strong teamwork and communication skills.?? A friendly, proactive, and customer-focused attitude.
