An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Associate Town Planner to join a growing planning consultancy as part of their Preston team (Manchester will also be considered for the right candidate). The successful Associate Town Planner will be assisting the Planning Director with the delivery of expert planning services to their clients, mentoring junior staff and further growing the team and workload.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Chartered Member of the RTPI
  • Extensive experience within the planning industry, ideally within a consultancy or developer environment
  • Proven track record in project management and business development
  • Previous team management experience

Duties:

  • Taking up the role of project lead on a variety of projects, mainly within the residential, retail and infrastructure sectors
  • Managing and mentoring junior members of the team
  • Actively contributing to the further growth of the team and workload
  • Building up a strong client portfolio
