Eventus Legal are seeking a Senior Employment Lawyer to work with a highly regarded law firm in the Greater Preston area who provide expert legal advice with an impressive and varied client base across a range of market sectors. They provide tailored legal advice to their individual and corporate clients nationally. They offer flexible and hybrid working, death in service benefit and 28 days holiday + bank holidays.

Role Responsibilities

The incoming Senior Employment Lawyer will be joining a committed and solutions driven team who pride themselves on offering clients tailored support to ensure that they receive the right blend of high quality and commercially focused advice. You will be advising on contentious and non-contentious employment matters including:

  • Employment contracts
  • Service agreements
  • Redundancies
  • Staff handbooks
  • Grievances and conduct issues
  • Disciplinaries
  • Restructures
  • Settlement agreements
  • TUPE
  • Employment Tribunals

Person Specifications

My client is seeking a Senior Employment Lawyer with at least 7 years’ experience of handling a varied caseload of employment matters as mentioned above and can demonstrate the following:

  • Outstanding communication skills, written and verbal
  • Client focused
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Collaborative, working well with a team demonstrating leadership as required
  • Keen eye for detail with a high level of accuracy
  • Ambitious and proactive
