Maintenance Engineer
Location: Preston
Up to £42,000

Full-time | Monday - Friday | 08:00 - 17:00

My client are looking for a skilled professional to join their team, ensuring their manufacturing operations run smoothly and efficiently.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Diagnosing faults, resolving production issues, and repairing equipment quickly.

  • Improving production processes, materials, and tools to enhance efficiency.

  • Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on machinery.

  • Ensuring all employees follow safety and operational procedures.

  • Coordinating maintenance and repair services to minimise downtime.

  • Creating and managing maintenance procedures in line with food safety standards.

  • Providing engineering support to maximise production efficiency.

  • Implementing cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.

  • Keeping up to date with industry trends and best practices.

  • Maintaining strict adherence to Health & Safety and food safety regulations.

What We’re Looking For:

Must-haves:

  • Experience in a production/manufacturing environment.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work logically and systematically.

  • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
