Position: Digital Marketing ExecutiveSalary: ÂŁ28,000 - ÂŁ32,000Location: Preston
What's the background?
Marketing flourishes in an environment that values creativity and strategic thinking. Unfortunately, many companies impose rigid structures that stifle innovation.
Here, you’ll find the opposite—a collaborative and flexible setting where your ideas are encouraged, and your expertise is trusted. You’ll have the autonomy to develop and execute digital marketing strategies without unnecessary barriers, allowing you to make a real impact.
Working as part of a close-knit team alongside a Head of Marketing and a Graphic Designer, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving the company’s digital presence forward. Additionally, you’ll have the chance to contribute to compelling pitches aimed at securing high-profile contracts.
This is a national company with its Head Office in Preston.
Responsibilities:
As the Digital Marketing Executive, you’ll have end-to-end responsibility for digital marketing strategies. With HubSpot now fully implemented as the backbone of the website and CRM, you’ll become the go-to expert on the platform—maximising its functionality to drive engagement, lead generation, and insightful reporting.
You will take full ownership of HubSpot, ensuring it is used to its full potential—managing email marketing automation, segmenting customer data, and generating detailed reports to track campaign performance and inform strategic decisions. Your ability to extract insights from HubSpot’s analytics and dashboards will be critical in refining and optimising marketing efforts.
Content creation is a major focus of this role, so you’ll need a proven track record of delivering campaigns that boost engagement and generate leads. Your experience in email marketing (including customer segmentation), content creation for websites and social media, and strong copywriting skills will be key to increasing brand awareness.
Additionally, you’ll be analytically minded, using campaign performance data and A/B testing to refine and optimise results. While deep expertise in SEO or PPC isn’t required, a good understanding of these areas would be beneficial.
Experience needed:
- A strong track record in developing and executing marketing campaigns that support sales and service goals.
- A relevant marketing qualification (e.g., CIM) or a degree in Marketing, English, or a business-related field.
- Excellent writing skills, with content creation being a significant aspect of the role.
- A results-driven mindset, with evidence of campaign success and return on investment.
- Experience using a web CMS.
- Essential: Previous experience using HubSpot, including generating reports and leveraging its tools to drive marketing success.
- A valid driving licence.
If you're looking for a role that gives you the creative freedom to make an impact, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
