SEO Specialist Permanent Full Time role, Hybrid Salary up to £35k pro rotaBased in PrestonMedlock Partners are partnering with a well established industry leading business who are looking for an SEO Specialist to join their team in Preston. The role will be responsible for developing and executing SEO strategies to help improve organic search rankings, traffic and overall online Prescence of the groups portfolio of brands.Key responsibilities of the SEO Specialist:
  • Develop and execute SEO strategies tailored to each of the companies within Group
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO best practices, algorithm updates, and industry trends
  • Optimise website content, metadata, and page structures across all company websites
  • Improve internal linking strategies to boost website ranking
  • Perform site audits regularly to identify and resolve issues such as page load speed, mobile usability, and crawl errors.
  • Conduct thorough keyword research using tools such as Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar platforms to identify valuable keyword opportunities
  • Develop content strategies based on high-ranking keywords and search trends.
  • Collaborate with content creators to ensure that all content produced is SEO-optimised, from blogs to product descriptions.
  • Design and execute off-page SEO strategies, including link-building, outreach, and partnerships with relevant third-party sites to enhance domain authority
  • Analyse competitors’ SEO strategies and search engine performance to identify opportunities for improvement and adaptation
Key requirements for the SEO Specialist:
  • Previous experience within a B2B or multi business environment
  • Hold a degree within marketing or digital marketing 
  • Proficient with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz
  • Understanding of both on-page and off-page SEO techniques
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build strong internal relationships 
  • Experience of using third party SEO agencies
