We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our diverse team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design and be able to manage projects across various sectors including Commercial, Leisure, Health, Education, Industrial and some Residential. Responsibilities- Manage and lead mechanical design projects from concept to completion
- Develop and present proposals and reports to clients
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Utilize advanced CAD software to create detailed designs and drawings
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to optimize design processes
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical design engineering
- Proficiency in advanced CAD software
- Intermediate knowledge of Revit
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Prior experience working in the specified sectors is an advantage
- Collaborating with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution
- Creating and presenting detailed design proposals to clients
- Reviewing and revising mechanical designs based on feedback and technical analysis
- Mentoring and providing guidance to junior engineers
- Researching and implementing industry best practices to enhance design processes and project outcomes
- Attending and participating in project meetings and design reviews to ensure alignment with client requirements and company standards
