About the Role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join a well-established maintenance team. This is a hands-on, problem-solving role focused on keeping production machinery running efficiently. Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair a variety of automated industrial equipment, including CNC/robotic machinery, metal-forming press tools, assembly plants, and powder coating systems.
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance to ensure smooth operations and minimise downtime.
  • Utilise expertise in hydraulics and pneumatics to maintain and optimise system performance.

Skills & Experience

  • Qualified in a relevant mechanical discipline.
  • Proven experience in industrial maintenance engineering.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
  • Skilled in bench and machine fitting.
  • Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, lifting, and slinging.
  • Confident working both independently and within a team.
  • Basic welding, FLT license, or IPAF certification would be advantageous but not essential.
