Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Senior Administrator to join our team in Preston. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our administrative processes, supporting senior management, and coordinating office activities efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level administrative support to senior management and various departments.
  • Oversee and maintain office procedures, ensuring efficiency and compliance with company policies.
  • Manage correspondence, including emails, letters, and phone inquiries.
  • Organise meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes as required. Diary and calendar management
  • Maintain and update records, databases, and filing systems.
  • Coordinate travel and accommodation arrangements for senior staff.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Support HR and finance teams with administrative tasks, including payroll and invoicing.
  • Assist in project coordination and deadline management.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and work flow.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior administrative staff when necessary.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in a Senior Administrator or similar role.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise workload effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment with the ability to meet deadlines.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience:

  • Previous experience in an Administration environment.
  • Knowledge of CRM or database management systems.
  • Working in a construction environment is preferred but not essential
