REED/LTA are seeking a Year 2 Teacher for a temporary position available from Easter until the end of the summer term at a vibrant primary school located in the north of Preston. This role is perfect for an individual with robust experience in Key Stage 1, who is enthusiastic about delivering high-quality education to young learners.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and educational lessons that comply with the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
  • Assess and monitor the progress of students, providing necessary feedback to support their academic and personal growth.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and the well-being of all students.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to plan and coordinate educational activities and school events.
  • Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians regarding their children's progress and any relevant classroom updates.
  • Participate actively in staff meetings and contribute to the school community.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with specific experience in Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and inspire young children to foster a love of learning.
  • Effective classroom management skills to create a safe and productive learning environment.
