If so, Spencer Clarke Group has an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Recruitment Compliance Officer.

Responsibilities:

As a Recruitment Compliance Officer for our Public Sector team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all candidates placed into work meet the necessary compliance standards. Your responsibilities will include:

Right to Work Checks: Conducting comprehensive right to work checks for all candidates to ensure they have the legal authorisation to work in the country.

Candidate Vetting: Verifying and evaluating candidate references to ensure their suitability for the positions they are being considered for.

DBS Checks: Managing the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks process, ensuring all candidates have undergone the necessary background checks.

Policy Adherence: Ensuring that all recruitment processes align with relevant regulations, safeguarding policies, and compliance standards.

Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all compliance checks, making sure they are readily accessible for audit purposes.

Requirements:

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all compliance-related matters.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with candidates and internal stakeholders.
