Reed/LTA are seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher for a full-time role in a Preston-based primary school. This position involves teaching a small mixed reception/year 1 class and is set to start after Easter. The role is for the full academic year with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

The pay for the role ranges from £162.31 to £207.38 based on experience. 

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Deliver engaging and educational lessons to a mixed reception/year 1 class.
  • Plan, prepare, and assess lessons that cater to the needs of both reception and year 1 pupils.
  • Monitor and support the learning of the children, ensuring a high level of progress and development.
  • Create a nurturing and safe learning environment.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about children’s progress and development.
  • Participate in school events and activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Key Stage 1.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) can apply, although support for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) is not available at this time.
