Primary School Teacher - Preston:
Prospero Teaching are currently seeking a qualified teacher to join a lovely primary school in the Preston area. This is a full time position to start after the Easter half-term.
The Role:
- Preparing engaging learning materials and lessons plans in line with the national curriculum
- Maintaining regular communication with the teaching assistant, SENCO and parents to monitor progress of the pupils
- Using positive and effective behaviour management techniques
- Creating a positive and nurturing learning environment
Position Details:
- Location: Preston
- Position: Primary Teacher
- Hours: 8am-4:30pm
- Type of Work: Temporary
- Full time/Part time: Full time only
- Minimum Rate of Pay: £190 per day, depending on experience
- Start date: 22/04/2025
- End date: Ongoing, Long-Term
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
- Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
- Qualified Teacher Status is essential for this role
- Previous experience teaching within a primary school
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional references
