Primary School Teacher - Preston:

Prospero Teaching are currently seeking a qualified teacher to join a lovely primary school in the Preston area. This is a full time position to start after the Easter half-term.

The Role:

  • Preparing engaging learning materials and lessons plans in line with the national curriculum
  • Maintaining regular communication with the teaching assistant, SENCO and parents to monitor progress of the pupils
  • Using positive and effective behaviour management techniques
  • Creating a positive and nurturing learning environment

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

  • Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
  • Qualified Teacher Status is essential for this role
  • Previous experience teaching within a primary school

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional references
