Year 1 Teacher - Preston:

Prospero Teaching are looking for a qualified teacher to join an excellent school near to Preston. You will be supporting a Year 1 class. For this role, you will need to hold a qualified teacher status and have excellent knowledge of core and foundation subjects.

Position Details:

  • Hours: 8:15am-3:15pm
  • Type of Work: Temporary

  • Minimum Rate of Pay: £130 per day, depending on experience

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

  • Qualified teacher status is essential for this role
  • Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
  • Previous experience working with primary aged pupils
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with students, parents and staff

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
