With this in mind, Hays are looking to provide a school in the Preston area with a Year 3 Teacher to work on a full-time basis starting after February half-term. The school are looking for inspiring teachers who have a drive to push their pupils to reach their potential. The school is happy to consider both NQT's and ECT's and could be the perfect opportunity to gain more experience within lower KS2. Your new roleAs part of your role as a class teacher, you will take on full responsibilities for this class, which will include preparing and planning fun and engaging lessons to push your pupils to the best of their ability. Whilst in this role, you will also mark and assess pupils' work and record their development, progress, and attainment, both at school and elsewhere, with this being communicated back to parents. You will have the support from an experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistant as well as a support staff network within the school. You will want to strive for academic growth for the children in your class and feel confident in tailoring materials to suit the ability and learning style of individual pupils.What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful in securing this position, you must possess Qualified Teacher Status. You need to be a good team player, have good time management and behaviour management skills.
