    About the Role:

    An excellent opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 3 Primary Teacher to join a friendly and dynamic primary school in Preston. This is a temporary-to-permanent position, allowing you to experience the vibrant school environment with the potential for a permanent contract based on performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons to Year 3 pupils, guiding them through key stages of their academic and personal development.



    Key Responsibilities:

    • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Year 3.
    • Assess and monitor the progress of students, providing feedback to pupils and parents regularly.
    • Differentiate teaching to cater to all learning abilities and ensure progress for all students.
    • Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
    • Work collaboratively with the wider school team, parents, and external agencies to support student development.
    • Maintain high standards of behaviour and implement strategies to encourage positive behaviour in the classroom.
    • Participate in school activities, meetings, and professional development opportunities.


    About You:

    • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
    • Experience teaching in a primary school setting, preferably with Year 3 or Key Stage 2.
    • A deep understanding of the National Curriculum and its application.
    • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
    • The ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
    • A passion for helping children achieve their potential in both academic and personal development.
    • A proactive, adaptable approach and a willingness to embrace new challenges.
