Primary Teaching Assistant - Preston:

Prospero Teaching are looking for a teaching assistant to support KS2 pupils at a primary school near to Preston. This is a full time position to start in January.

The Role:

  • Building rapport with students, parents and staff
  • Preparing learning resources and activities
  • Effectively communicating with class teacher to monitor progress

Position Details:

  • Position: Primary TA
  • Location: Preston
  • Hours: 8:45am-4pm, Mon-Fri
  • Type of Work: Temporary
  • Full time/Part time: Full time only
  • Minimum Rate of Pay: £90 per day, depending on experience
  • Start date: 13/01/2025
  • End date: Easter half term

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

  • Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification is highly desired
  • Previous experience working within a school setting is essential

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional references
