Role Overview & Purpose:

Opportunity to join a well-known, established Bank taking responsibility for the development and implementation of the Group's Framework and associated policies for Third Party Risk Management. You will also ensure the Group are compliant with all regulatory requirements and manage the risk across the supplier base.

Role responsibilities:

Provide strategic direction and guidance to stakeholders up to Executive Committee level in relation to Third Party Risk Management.

Provide subject matter expertise in managing suppliers and the associated risk to business areas and central functions.

Develop and review the frameworks and policies for Third Party Risk Management

Work collaboratively with operational stakeholders to manage and develop suppliers at a proportionate and appropriate level, in accordance with the supplier management framework and regulatory expectations.

Ensure supplier due diligence is completed in line with the supplier management framework. Any issues and risks are assessed and reported upon to business stakeholders.

Keep abreast of Regulatory developments and industry best practice to ensure the Group remains compliant. 

Chair governance forums on behalf of the Head of Operational Resilience and Supplier Management as needed for Third Party Risk Management.

Personal Attributes & Experience:

An experienced leader with extensive experience in Third party Supplier Management, preferably from within the Financial Services industry.  

Working knowledge of the appropriate standards and regulations FCA/PRA/BoE requirements in relation to Third party Risk Management. 

Analytical skills - able to analyse and interpret key facts across a spectrum of data sources, providing stakeholders with clear and concise recommendations and reports. 

Proven stakeholder engagement experience, including experience of working in a matrix management structure
