SRG are working exclusively with a global developer and manufacturer of construction products for a wide variety of sectors. They are now seeking a QC Manager to join the team in their laboratory in Lancashire on a 12-month fixed term contract. This role will predominantly involve overseeing the Quality Control (QC) team in order to ensure the QC tests of raw materials, finished products as productions processes are performed correctly and in a time manner. Prospective candidates will have proven industrial experience within a similar QC laboratory.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm. 23 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Role / Description

  • Co-ordinating and overseeing the Quality Control (QC) laboratory
  • Ensuring the QC tests of raw materials and finished products run efficiently and in a timely manner
  • Manage, organise and direct the QC team
  • Keep documentation updated
  • Support in the analysis of production data
  • Technical training of the QC team

Requirements

  • Degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Material Science
  • Proven industrial experience of managing/leading a similar QC laboratory
  • Adaptable and have the ability to prioritise efficiently
  • Thorough, with good attention to detail
