Behaviour Mentor - Preston:

Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced behaviour mentor to join the team at a school near to Preston. You will be supporting children with SEMH and challenging behaviour.

The Role:

  • Providing opportunities to progress social, emotionally and academically
  • Leading by example as a role model
  • Having an understanding of individual needs
  • Offering guidance and mentoring
  • Providing a nurturing and encouraging environment to learn

Position Details:

  • Full time/Part time: Full time only
  • Hours: 8am-3:15pm
  • Minimum Rate of Pay: 90 per day, depending on experience
  • Start date: 24/02/2025
  • End date: Ongoing

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

  • Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
  • Team Teach training is highly desired
  • Experience of supporting challenging behaviours and de-escalation techniques

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
  • Provide two professional references.
