Clinical PsychologistPreston£52,994 - £62,192 (Actual salary)Permanent, Term-Time OnlyWe are seeking an experienced and dedicated Clinical Psychologist to join our team in supporting children and young people aged 9-18 with Special Educational Needs (SEN), Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges, autism, and complex neurodevelopmental needs. You will play a critical role in providing specialist psychological support to those affected by trauma, sensory processing challenges, mental health issues, and speech, language, and communication difficulties.Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilise your expertise to assess, formulate, and deliver therapeutic interventions for young people with complex, multifaceted needs.
  • Lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring a holistic, informed approach to supporting each child's needs.
  • Act as a role model, guide, and trainer to staff, supporting clinically informed practices within educational and care environments.
  • Champion the best possible outcomes for young people, fostering environments that enhance their well-being, learning, and personal development.

About You:

  • Clinical, Educational, Forensic, or Counselling Psychologist with HCPC registration.
  • Proven experience working with children and young people with SEN, SEMH, and neurodevelopmental needs, including complex trauma and sensory processing challenges.
  • Confident, engaging, and an effective leader who inspires, guides, and trains staff.
  • Highly organised, you are ready to take initiative and adapt to a dynamic environment.
