IT Procurement Specialist

Morson is delighted to be working in partnership with a market leading defence organisation to recruit an IT procurement Specialist for an initial 6 month contract. There is a rate of £55.62 PAYE or £73.39 Umbrella Per hour on offer for the successful candidate.  The role would involve a hybrid working arrangement with 1-2 days a week on site in Preston and 3-4 days a week working from home.

Role Description

• The role will be supporting specific technology procurement activities across Sourcing and Contract Management

• We expect the candidate to be familiar with basic technology related terminology and processes

Core Duties
Typical duties include:

• Managing RFP’s for IT related Professional Services or Outsourced Services
• Managing placement of contracts on Software Providers (ie reviewing terms, being comfortable with challenging pricing and contracts)
• Processing contract change notices on complex IT Services agreements
• Working with IT Resellers
• Managing internal stakeholders to ensure communication flows are appropriate
