Quality Engineer for a leading Chemicals manufacturer in Lancashire.

Hours of work:Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (flexible working hours).

Location: Lancashire.
Duration:Permanent position.
Salary: Upto 40k (depending on your skills and experience)
You will be involved in:
- Quality investigations (RCA, CAPA).
- Conducting training and development exercises across the laboratory, production and engineering.
- Reporting quality measurements against KPIs and internal auditing.
- Collating and reviewing data to make improvements to site operations and quality.
- Look at and implementing continuous improvement activities across the site and directly support the site quality manager.
What do you need to be considered?
You will need:
- Science or engineering qualification ideally to degree level or equivalent experience.
- Experience of Quality systems (CAPA, NCR, RCA, internal auditing).
- Previous knowledge of laboratory testing.
- Knowledge of lean & six sigma principles in relation to problem solving and SPC.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- If you have a background in process chemistry or R&D this would be a distinct advantage.
