My client are a specialized consultancy providing high-quality estimating and quantity surveying services to subcontractors and main contractors.

Our team supports both general civil and rail engineering projects across northwest England and Ireland, and we're expanding due to continued growth. J

What We're Looking For:

  • As an RICS-regulated firm, we prioritize trustworthiness and confidentiality, protecting our clients' sensitive information.
  • You'll work with a range of clients, each with unique requirements. We seek someone who can tailor solutions to meet these varied needs.
  • Enthusiasm is key. You should be willing to expand your knowledge across civil and rail engineering sectors, apply insights to client problems, and continuously improve.
  • At least 2 years of estimating or quantity surveying experience in the UK civil engineering sector is required. Rail sector experience is advantageous.
  • You should be comfortable managing your own workload from project inception through final account stages, with support available as needed.
  • Familiarity with ICC, CECA, NEC, and NR contracts, as well as standard methods of measurement (CESMM, RMM, HWMM, SMM, NRM), is essential.
  • Experience with Causeway estimating software is a plus.
  • A strong understanding of the UK construction sector, with the ability to create methodology and program documents, is required.
  • The role requires site and client office visits, so you must hold a valid UK driving license
