Job Description:
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Estimator/Surveyor to join their team. This key role involves providing accurate cost estimations, managing project budgets, and ensuring cost efficiency throughout our construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to their ongoing success and growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit precise cost estimates for roofing and cladding projects.
  • Analyze project drawings and specifications to determine material and labour needs.
  • Conduct site visits and surveys to gather information for cost estimates.
  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing.
  • Evaluate project risks and propose strategies to ensure profitability.
  • Monitor project budgets and track expenditure against estimates.
  • Prepare and submit progress reports to management and clients.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure project success.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in estimating and surveying.

Requirements:

  • 5 years minimum experience as a Surveyor/Estimator in the roofing and cladding industry
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Professional accreditation or membership with relevant industry bodies is desirable.
