About the role

Propsero teaching are looking for a Qualified and RegisteredLead Clinician for an SEMH secondary school in the Lancashire area. Successful candidates will work with SLT and the Locality Clinical Lead, and take management position over the clinical team. The school caters for SEMH needs, including those presenting with more challenging behaviours and varying levels of neurodivergence. The successful candidate must have experience with working with those of more complex needs. These duties will also be split with time for holding a therapy caseload, with support from the wider clinical network and team. This will also include consultation and staff training sessions. In addition to this, the role will involve supporting the integration of the specific service in the day to day running of each provision i.e., standardised assessments and clinical services. A key aspect of the role will be to deliver the wellbeing and clinical rainbow strategy at a universal, enhanced and specialist level to support our wider teams in meeting our pupils' needs in line with set Education, Health Plan (EHCP).

Essential Criteria:

  • Recognised degree in either, Occupational Therapy, Speech & Language Therapy, Psychotherapy or registered as a Practitioner Psychologist with the HCPC.
  • Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities.
  • Experience in working with and supporting autistic individuals and those with complex needs.
  • Experience of providing supervision and supporting a therapy team.
  • Experience of multi-professional / multi-agency working within the designated specialty preferred
  • Full UK valid driving licence and access to own vehicle.
  • Valid and up to date professional Registration & membership of professional body e.g. HCPC, RCOT, RCSLT.
