Location: Preston

This is a great opportunity to join an established construction company who have been operating for over 60 years. They are respected throughout the industry, take pride in the quality of the projects they deliver and due to their continued success and growth they are now looking for a Business Administrator to join their team in Preston.

They work across a variety of sectors including Commercial, Education, Healthcare, Heritage & Leisure with projects valued anywhere between 5m - 15m.

The role - Commercial Administrator

As a Commercial Administrator you will be a key part of the team and will be based out of the head office in Preston. You will work closely with the commercial and pre-construction teams and be responsible for the following duties:

  • Assist and work closely with pre-construction and estimating team.
  • Develop promotional materials such as collect information from projects and write specific evidence pieces, case studies and capability statements.
  • Assist with tender quality submissions.
  • Attend Social Value events including school visits and contractor meetings. Ensure projects go smoothly from a business development perspective and surpassing client expectations.
  • Prepare company promotional material and social media.
  • General Company Compliance: assist and monitor company information.
  • General administration/day to day office duties.


Required experience?

  • Must have prior experience working with the Microsoft Office applications.
  • Have good communication skills.
  • Work well within a team.
  • Have excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Good attention to detail.
