Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for a Compliance Officer to deliver support across a publicly funded contract that delivers business advice and support across Lancashire and St Helens.

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining a robust claims and compliance system and you will implement and deliver compliant processes (including the oversight and processing of subcontractor invoices/claims).  You will ensure efficient and effective delivery of programmes and ensure accurate allocation of costs meet the budget constraints. You will review and audit contractual paperwork to ensure a robust verification of output and results evidence which will ensure accurate and timely submission of funder claims.

You will have extensive compliance experience ideally within ERDF contracts (or wider publicly funded contracts within education, business support, business finance etc.) and you will provide support and guidance to project delivery teams concerning claims and compliance issues and compiling a high standard of documentary audit trails, ultimately fulfilling the requirements of both funder and financial audit protocols.

This role is a flexible role across days/hours worked, part time or full time, able to pick kids up from school etc and you will be required to attend the office as required (few times per month).
