We are proud to working alongside our client, a well-established national organisation with their search for Plant Mechanic to be based at their site in Preston
The Role:
- Role includes carrying out all routine vehicle maintenance of our own fleet of Plant Machinery to meet industry and company standards,
- Diagnosis of equipment and resolving and machinery faults
- Work as part of a team, maintaining a good working relationship between colleagues
- Adhere to correct working health and Safety processes
- Keep the working area clean and tidy, reporting any Health and Safety issues as soon as possible to the management
- Carry out any company in training and development programmes as required
- Complete job cards correctly and communicate effectively with Workshop Management
- Ensure all aspects of H&S working practice are adhered to
- Diagnosing and rectifying all types plant faults
- Undertaking any other necessary duties
The Candidate
- The successful candidate will have experience working with Plant Machinery and ideally Heavy Plant
- Ideally possess industry qualifications
- Plant maintenance: 2 years (preferred)
