Are you an English teacher or currently studying?Do you have a passion for working with young people?We have an exciting opportunity for a English Specialistto join a mainstream Secondary School within Preston.

As an English Specialist, you will be working closely with the team across years 7-11, which will include Classics. You will need a strong understanding of delivering Classics within a Secondary School.

The role can be flexible either part-time or full-time, working from 8.30am to 3.30pm. We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual who is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of young people.

Key Requirements:

  • A degree in English/Classics or a related subject
  • Experience of working with children and young people.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A positive and resilient attitude
