We are looking for a skilled French Teacher to join our team in Preston! You will have the opportunity to inspire KS3 and KS4 students. The position offers a competitive salary, tailored to your experience, qualifications, and teaching abilities.
In this role, you will be helping students build their communication skills, cultural understanding, and confidence in French. You will also be delivering engaging and effective lessons to the students, tailor lessons to meet diverse needs, and track student progress through assessments and feedback. It would be an added advantage if you are fluent in Arabic/Urdu along with French.

Responsibilities:
- Creating a positive learning environment through professionally planned lessons and classroom displays
- Using imagination and innovation to enhance the learning experience in children
- Having control over the whole class and maintaining discipline
- Adhering to the curriculum, including up to date changes in the structure
- Use assessment data to inform lesson planning
- Set homework and mark promptly
- Ensure a high quality of teaching and learning takes place
- Deal with immediate problems/emergencies according to school policy and procedures
- Strong subject knowledge
- Punctual and reliable

Personal Attributes:
- You will have a genuine passion for teaching
- Experience up to key stage 3/4
- QTS/PGCE equivalent
- Be flexible and committed
