Key Responsibilities:

Help students improve their proficiency in speaking, listening, reading, and writing in French.
Maintain effective classroom management, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
Provide constructive and actionable feedback to support students' academic growth.
Work collaboratively with the school's language department to promote the success of French education.
Participate in school events, meetings, and activities, contributing to the wider school community.
Ensure the welfare, safety, and well-being of all students at all times.

Ideal Candidate:

Qualifications: A degree in French or a related subject, along with a recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS).

Experience: Prior experience teaching French at the secondary school level is highly desirable.

Skills:

Strong command of the French language, including grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.
A deep understanding of French culture and the ability to integrate cultural aspects into lessons.
Ability to teach French across a wide range of age groups and abilities, from beginners to advanced learners.
Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
Passionate about French language education and helping students succeed.
Adaptable and proactive, able to work independently or as part of a team.
