Science Teacher

Vision for Education are recruiting for an outstanding Science Teacher for a secondary school based in Preston starting April 2025.

The role
This is a full time position for a one year contract. The school welcome applications from both newly qualified and experienced teachers. 

The successful candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status in the UK and experience of teaching Chemistry at KS3 and KS4 level.

The role is due to commence from April 2024 with no current end date.

This Blackpool school is based just outside Blackpool on the Fylde Coast and has been a large part of the town and local community. The successful Science Teacher will work in a supportive and friendly department and wider school environment. The school is forward thinking and benefits from a proactive Senior Leadership team.

Requirements

To be considered for the Science specialism Teacher role you must:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have some knowledge or previous experience of Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
• Be adaptable and flexible
• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff
