Lancashire County CouncilĀ have a successful ongoing partnership with Reed Education to provide Whole School Recruitment to Secondary Schools across Lancashire. As a result, Reed Education are seeking a Full-time English Teacher. Starting in FebruaryĀ 2025Ā at aĀ Secondary Pupil Referral UnitĀ school nearĀ Preston.

The role covers 5Ā days per week, Monday to Friday,Ā school hours and due to last until Summer 2025.

The successful applicant must:

ā€¢ Must have QTS or equivalent and a degree level qualificationā€¢ Must have recent relevant experience of Ā English at KS3 and KS4, KS5 experience would be an advantageā€¢ Be an excellent classroom practitioner with strong subject knowledge and classroom management skillsā€¢ Be reliable, committed and interested in working with students and demonstrate the qualities of a good role model (qualities of compassion, trustworthiness, politeness and good listening skills)ā€¢ Have good interpersonal skills; be trustworthy, punctual as well as being patient and confident when working with children.
